Trash Collection Schedule
Currently Heatherwood trash is collected on Tuesday each week except
for certain holidays.
From
the Washington Twp Website
"Collection of trash and recyclables is done by an outside
contractor. Therefore, the holiday collection schedule is observed
only on their observed holidays not the Township’s holidays.
Collection will take place one day after the observed holiday for:
New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day,
Thanksgiving and Christmas."
See
the
Public Works section of the
Washington Twp website for more details. Also, see Heatherwood
Governing Documents,
Exhibit E,
page 1 and 1a for more information on this subject.
